My Book Review

My Book Review

This must of been the tenth time I've read this book, you must read this book.
Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone is one of the best books I’ve ever read.  Eleven-year-old Harry Potter goes to a new school, meets new friends and has a magical adventure. And this is only the beginning.

Harry Potter gets a letter, but what is it about? He travels to a special school, but what’s so special? After years of living with his horrid aunt and uncle, and his mean cousin Dudley, Harry finds out that he is a wizard. In fact, he never knew his parents at all so it was a huge surprise to find out that his parents were wizards as well.
Life will never be the same

Harry meets a big cast of new friends while he is at Hogwarts. Ronald Weasley and Hermione Granger become his two best friends, he also meets some fascinating, exciting and mean teachers while there. Teachers aren’t the only mean ones in the school, some of the students like Draco Malfoy and his two grunts Crabbe and Goyle hate Harry, Ron and Hermione and make their lives hard.

I’ve never been much of a magic fan myself but ever since I read these books it has all changed. My favorite part of the book is when Harry get his letter from Hagrid, I like it because it shows the first new character in the book and how different they can be.

This book is worth every minute, its characters and the story blend perfectly to make a roller coaster ride of a plot, And if you love the book there is six other books in the series.
